In today’s Federal Register, USDA’s Rural Housing Service published a Notice of Solicitation of Applications entitled, Multi-Family Housing Preservation and Revitalization (MPR) Demonstration Program-Section 514 and Section 515 for Fiscal Year 2022.

In a separate information bulletin about the published Notice, the Office of Multifamily Housing stated the following:

On Tuesday, March 15, 2022, Rural Development published a Notice of Solicitation of Applications (NOSA) for the Multi-Family Housing Preservation and Revitalization (MPR) Program – 514 Off-Farm Labor Housing (Off-FLH) and Section 515 Rural Rental Housing (RRH) loans for Fiscal Year 2022. This program offers deferral of loan payments on existing Section 514 Off-FLH or Section 515 RRH agency loans obligated on or after October 1, 1991. The program objective is to revitalize and preserve existing affordable housing in rural areas. This NOSA closes on May 16, 2022, at 5 p.m., Eastern Time. Rural Housing Service will host a MPR NOSA Workshop on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at 2 p.m. Eastern Time to discuss the application process, borrower/applicant eligibility and responsibilities, and other pertinent topics. Participants should pre-register for the session. A meeting confirmation notice will be emailed to all registrants with valid email addresses.
