HUD: Registration Link for the Capital Needs Assessment (CNA) eTool Walkthrough on February 29, 2024

Good afternoon,

Some recipients of the RADblast! published on Tuesday, February 27, have experienced difficulties accessing the link to the registration for the “Capital Needs Assessment eTool (CNA eTool) Walkthrough and Updates for RAD Participants.” The session is scheduled for February 29, 2024 from 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM EST. To register, participants should use this link: https://www.hudexchange.info/trainings/courses/cna-walkthrough-and-updates-for-phas/.

The session will be a live walk-through of recent updates to the CNA e-Tool. The CNA e-Tool automates and standardizes the initiation, preparation, submission, review, and approval of a CNA, which is required in all RAD conversions. This session will teach PHAs to:

• Interact with the Needs Assessor as they use the CNA e-Tool to complete assessments for the PHA
• Understand updates to the tool
• Learn new features including the ‘green’ focus for components and replacements, and the repair needs analysis page, among other applicable updates.
