GIVING TUESDAY – CARH Scholarship Foundation
November 29th is Giving Tuesday! Giving Tuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day to encourage people to do good. This year on Giving Tuesday, please think about donating to the CARH Scholarship Fund (a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization). Click here for the form to make a one-time donation! When you go to the following link which shows the CARH Scholarship Foundation recipients, you’ll know that your donations to the Scholarship Foundation will provide so much “good” to some amazing and deserving students
Also, as you shop for the upcoming holidays, the CARH Scholarship Foundation would like to remind you that you can shop and raise money for the CARH Scholarship Fund through AmazonSmile! AmazonSmile offers all of the same items, prices, and benefits of Amazon.com, but with one distinct difference – when users shop on AmazonSmile, the AmazonSmile Foundation contributes 0.5% of eligible purchases to the charity of your choice. Our hope is that you set your charity as the CARH Scholarship Fund! This is a fast and straight forward way to give to the fund.
Click here and bookmark the link to support the CARH Scholarship Fund every time you shop! You can also visit smile.amazon.com and select the CARH Scholarship Fund as your charity. (Please note, Amazon.com and the Amazon mobile app purchases do not apply. You must be logged in to the AmazonSmile website, therefore make sure you bookmark the link above!)
There is no cost to you or the CARH Scholarship Foundation. 100% of the donations generated from eligible purchases will go to the Scholarship Fund. (All eligible items will have a notation with an “Eligible for AmazonSmile donation” stamp in the product’s description.)
AmazonSmile donations are made by the AmazonSmile Foundation and are therefore not tax deductible by the customer. You can still make a tax deductible donation to the CARH Scholarship Foundation by clicking here.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Tamara Schultz at the CARH National Office at carh@carh.org or 703-837-9001.
