On November 13, 2024, RD’s Office of Multifamily Housing sent out the following information:
On September 27, 2024, Rural Development’s Rural Housing Service (RHS or Agency), published a notice of funds availability (NOFA) in the Federal Register, Federal Register Notice MPR NOSA and Preservation Activities 2024. The NOFA announced that the Agency is inviting applications for the Multifamily Housing Preservation and Revitalization Demonstration Program (MPR) and the Section 515 Loan Program.
On October 17, 2024, RHS conducted a virtual workshop to discuss the application process, borrower and applicant eligibility and responsibilities, and to answer questions from stakeholders and potential applicants. We have posted the questions & answers (Q&As) we’ve received so far under the “Events” tab on our MPR public website. We will continue to update the Q&A post as we receive additional questions, and we encourage you to check the website weekly for updates.
