CARH’s 2024 Midyear Meeting, “Uncover the Tools to Enhance and Expand Affordable Rural Housing,” is quickly approaching! The meeting will be held January 29-31 at The Charleston Place, in historic Charleston, South Carolina.

- Housing Markets Today – Outlook for Tomorrow
- Unraveling the Compliances Issues of the Day
- Addressing Year 15 – Issues and Options
- Addressing the Financing Gaps
- Physical Inspections – Moving in a New Direction
- Preservation of the Section 515 Portfolio – Moving Forward
Additionally, CARH’s standing committees will meet on Monday, January 29, beginning at 8:30 a.m. All meeting attendees are encouraged to participate in any committee meeting that is relevant to their business. The committee chairs want to hear from you! If you are interested in placing a particular issue on the agenda for any of the following committee meetings, e-mail your suggestion to carh@carh.org.

- Management Committee
- Developers and Owners Committee
Following the committee meetings, CARH’s Board of Directors will hold their meeting, at which all attendees are also welcome to attend.

Hotel Information
CARH’s original room block sold out, however, we were able to work with the hotel to add some additional rooms for meeting attendees at a group rate of $350 per night, single or double occupancy. To make your reservations, click here or call the hotel directly at 800-611-5545. You must identify yourself as part of the “Council for Affordable and Rural Housing” or “CARH” group room block. Reservations must be made by December 29, 2023. If you haven’t already done so, please make your room reservations as soon as possible as it is unlikely any additional rooms will be added to our room block. Additionally, if you must cancel your hotel reservation, please contact Anne Stuart at astuart@verizon.net before doing so.
